BURJ KHALIFA OPENING

On January 4, 2010, guests from around the world witnessed the inauguration of the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. This event also set the record for the world’s highest fireworks display, which could be seen across the city for 100km and was witnessed by two billion people around the world. Set against the backdrop of a great recession, Pierre Marcout and his Prisme team rose to the challenge by orchestrating this record-breaking celebration, featuring hot air balloons, spectacular parachutists, and the world’s largest water fountain dance, all choreographed perfectly to the dramatic fireworks display.
